Welcome to Inspire IDP ("we", "our", or "us"). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our application and services (collectively, the “App”), which support Individual Development Programmes (IDPs) through journaling, video logs, coaching relationships, and CV functionality.

By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

1. Eligibility

To use the App, you must be at least 16 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under UK law.

2. User Types and Access

The App supports two primary user roles:

• Users (Clients): Individuals using the platform to create and manage their own IDPs.
• Coaches: Professionals who support users in their development and maintain their own IDP.

Both users and coaches can:

• Access journaling and video log features
• Create and manage their IDPs
• Upload and edit their CVs
• Connect with other users or coaches (with mutual consent)

Access Control:
Users must explicitly grant permission for a coach to access any part of their IDP. Permissions can be revoked at any time.

3. Features

• Journals and Video Logs: Secure, private entries documenting personal and professional development. Users control access.
• Connections: Users and coaches can connect to collaborate on development. No information is shared without consent.
• CV Management: Upload, store, and share professional CVs within the platform.
• IDP Management: Create structured development plans with milestones, actions, and progress tracking.

4. Subscription Terms

The App may offer both free and paid subscription tiers. Subscription features and pricing are outlined clearly in the App.

• Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Apple App Store, Google Play, Stripe, or other providers.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Access continues until the end of the billing period.
• Free Trials: If offered, free trials convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends.
• Refunds: Refunds are not provided except as required by UK consumer law or at our discretion.

5. Data Storage and Hosting

All data is securely stored in data centres located in the United Kingdom or EEA-compliant jurisdictions. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information.

6. GDPR Compliance (UK)

• What We Collect: Name, email, profile information, journals, video logs, CVs, IDP details, and usage data
• How We Use It: To provide services, personalise your experience, and improve the App
• Legal Basis: Consent, contract, and legitimate interest
• Your Rights: Access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, and data portability
• Data Retention: Retained while your account is active or as required by law

7. Privacy and Data Sharing

Your data is private by default. You choose what to share and with whom. Coaches can only access information you grant them permission to view.

We do not sell personal data. Some anonymised data may be used to improve our service and analytics.

8. Account Security

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

9. Acceptable Use

• Upload unlawful, offensive, or harmful content
• Harass, impersonate, or mislead others
• Interfere with the operation of the App
• Attempt to access other users’ content without permission

Violations may result in suspension or termination.

10. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain ownership but grant us a limited licence to use it for service provision.

Our Content: All intellectual property belongs to Inspire IDP Ltd unless stated otherwise.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

Upon termination, data will be deleted or anonymised unless legally required to retain it.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• The App is provided “as is”
• No guarantee of outcomes
• No liability for indirect or consequential damages

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
